for some sports After some relaxing days you might feel ready for some sports. At Club Calypso you can find our dive centre Canary Island Divers, a PADI 5 Star Gold Palm IDC Centre. All courses from "Bubblemaker" for the kids right up to Staff Instructor. Further information is on their website. Our Mini-Club for children is fully equipped and supervised, including lots of organised activities, designed to keep them happy, and ensure you get a holiday too ! To explore Puerto del Carmen and its surroundings there is nothing better than a mountain-bike. Our reception team hires bikes and shows you some interesting trails nearby. In Puerto del Carmen you can find any kind of sport or activity: tennis, squash, gym, go-karting, sailing, fishing and horse riding among others. The tourist resort is the starting point for organized excursions by boat, foot, bike, quad, jeep or bus. Our staff will help you to pick the most exciting excursion from the many offers available. The island of Lanzarote It's almost a must to visit the astonishing island of Lanzarote with its National Park Timanfaya, beautiful white villages, black lava fields, breathtaking golden beaches and stunning volcanic landscapes. Lanzarote was declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1993 as it conserves one of the most exceptional ecosystems and volcanic landscapes in the world.
